This was an extremely stunning/fun wedding. Brittani and I have been friends for many years and I was very honoured to be there to capture this happy day. Their wedding was very unique in that after dinner, everyone busted out their party outfits and glow sticks and we proceed to have an amazing EDM party. It was truly too much fun!

A Mountain Elopement

Ashley and Addison are a lovely couple that decided to elope in Moraine Lake, near Lake Louise, Alberta. The scene was stunning, however it ended up raining for the entire ceremony and all of the pictures afterwards. Ashley was a total trooper, most brides would have fallen to pieces at having to walk through puddles and have their hair get wet, she just hiked up her dress and off we went. The rain did have the upside of getting rid of almost all of the tourists and we generally had the entire lake to ourselves. The pictures turned out amazing in spite of the clouds and rain. Finally I have gotten around to posting some of the photos from the 2012 wedding season. This has been a little delayed due my own wedding in September which took up most of my free time which is normally reserved for photography, for this I have no regrets at all, it was so amazing!! Anyways check out the photos HERE. The pictures below are some gems that I had forgotten about and never posted (this happens more often than I like). This was an amazing summer engagement shoot in the foothills of the rockies. Brittany and Max are a stunning couple to be able to work with.

Amazing Landscape and a Wedding

Janessa and Thomas get married!

I love doing pictures for weddings where I know the majority of the people there, it allows you to anticipate some of the moments based on the personalities. You also know who to watch for reactions and the faces that make a shot. The bride was gorgeous and the groom handsome, the ceremony was in waterfall park in Regina Saskatchewan which was absolutely picturesque! The wedding was early, ceremony started at 11 am, and so by the time we finished the ceremony and the pictures, Janessa was tired and had a little nap on the back lawn. I caught the best picture of her lying on the beautiful green grass. Ill have the picture up soon.
